The research examines the main types of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and risks that affect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of financial transactions. The study focuses on the development of a protection model combining cryptographic methods, multi-factor authentication, tokenization, and artificial intelligence techniques for fraud detection. The paper presents a detailed classification of payment systems, explores the legal and regulatory framework of cybersecurity in Ukraine and the EU, and analyzes the balance between transaction security and user convenience.
